CEC has received no complaints as of 11:00
Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has received no complaints about the organization and conducting of the elections to Yerevan Council of Elders as of 11:00 a.m., the head of CEC Legal Department Lilia Hakobyan told Panorama.am.
Hakobyan informed that numerous phone calls, proposals, emails, and enquiries have been received from the citizens with all of them related to the possibility of the vote for citizens who are out of the republic.
“It is clarified that the Electoral Code does not allow to vote for the citizens who are out of the republic, as no polling stations are organized abroad,” Hakobyan said.
The other part of the enquiries is related to the verification of the electoral lists.
