Low visibility on some mountain passes in Armenia amid heavy fog

Rain is reported on the roads in Armenia’s Aparan, Aragats, Ashotsk, Akhuryan and Ani districts as of 3pm Friday, the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies told Panorama.am.

Vardenyants and Chambarak mountain passes are difficult to pass amid heavy fog which has brought down visibility to 30-50 meters in the areas.

All interstate and republican roads in the country are open for traffic, the ministry said.
