Book exhibition-fair to be organized in Khnko Aper children’s library
Khnko Aper children’s library in Yerevan will host a book exhibition-sale on December 14. The event is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the library, the 100th anniversary of Armenpress news agency and the 25th anniversary of “Edit Print” publishing house.
“If we want to have book-lover interesting generation with thinking outside the box, we should encourage children’s literature and books, to promote the culture of reading among the young people,” Director of Armenpress news agency Aram Ananyan told reporters at a press conference on Wednesday.
Director of the Khnko Aper library Ruzan Tonoyan added the event will feature presentations of new books and theatrical performances. Director of “Edit Print” publishing house Mkrtich Karapetyan said the fair will offer books of different reading tastes, styles, including interactive ones.
“People are prone to read more and more and interestingly, the tendency is going toward not the electronic books, but the paper version. The year was quite successful for our publishing house as we published around 100 books,” Karapetyan said.
The speakers also informed that visitors will get surprises during the event.
