Putin, Pashinyan to meet in late May, Matviyenko says
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan may meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting on May 29, the speaker of the upper house of the Russian parliament Valentina Matviyenko said Friday, Sputnik agency reported.
"The leaders of our countries met seven times last year, they are in constant touch, [there are] phone talks. On May 29, there will be a meeting on the sidelines of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting, which will take place in Kazakhstan, while on October 1 there will be the same event in Yerevan, where there also will be a chance for our leaders to meet," Matviyenko said at a meeting with Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan.
