Tribute to memory of the Armenian Genocide victims paid in Moscow
Armenian Ambassador to Russia Vardan Toghanyan and the head of the Russian and New-Nakhijevan Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Bishop Ezras Nersisyan laid flowers at the Monument of the Armenian Genocide in the yard of the Armenian Church in Moscow.
As the Armenian Embassy in Russia reported, Boris Sahakyan, Envoy at the Embassy and the military attaché at the diplomatic mission Armen Lalayan were present at the ceremony.
On April 24, a Saint Liturgy honoring the memory of 1.5 million Armenian martyrs was offered at the Armenian Cathedral in Moscow, the source said.
