Showers, thunderstorms expected in Armenia in next few days

Showers and thunderstorms are expected in most regions of Armenia on September 22 and from September 25-26, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

Precipitation is predicted only in some parts of the country on September 23-24. 

South-west wind speed is 3-8 m/s, the ministry said, adding during thunderstorms the wind speed may exceed up to 15-20 m/s.

Temperatures will not change significantly.

Capital Yerevan will see showers and thunderstorms on September 22 and in the afternoon of September 26. No precipitation is forecast for September 23-25.
