Azerbaijan attacks Armenia’s civilian areas with combat drones
The Azerbaijani forces employed combat UAVs in the direction of Yeritsvank community, as well as in Artsvanik community of Kapan in Armenia’s Syunik Province, spokeswoman of the Armenian Defense Ministry Shushan Stepanyan said on Saturday.
“No casualties are reported,” she wrote on Facebook.
Earlier the spokeswoman said that the use of UAVs by the Azerbaijani military intensified in the southern direction of the contact line after the joint statement of the Russian, Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers.
“The units of the Defense Army repel all the attacks of the enemy, causing heavy losses to manpower. The enemy is perfidiously trying to alter the situation until the ceasefire declared for humanitarian purposes on October 10, at 12pm, takes effect,” she wrote on Facebook.
“The units of the Artsakh Defense Army are ready to stop the enemy's assailant intentions,” Stepanyan added.
