Azerbaijani FM says the ceasefire in Karabakh not established yet
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bairamov announced that the agreed humanitarian ceasefire is not possible due to lack of necessary conditions to implement it, TASS news agency reported.
To remind, the Artak hDefense Army reported that Azerbaijani military launched an assault in the direction of an area known as Karakhambeyli within minutes of the ceasefire coming into effect. Before the humanitarian ceasefire was enforced, the Azerbaijani side also attempted a diversion and reconnaissance mission in the direction of Hadrut.
Note, following the Friday consultations held in Moscow on Russia’s initiative, Azerbaijan and Armenia agreed on a humanitarian ceasefire to start at 12:00 p.m. on October 10 to exchange prisoners and other detainees and bodies of those killed in the conflict.
