Armenian serviceman wounded in Azerbaijani ceasefire violation

As a result of gross violation of the ceasefire regime by the Azerbaijani forces, a serviceman of the Artsakh Defense Army was wounded on January 13, at around 12.00 in a combat position at one of the military units deployed in the central direction of the Artsakh Army.   

As the Defense Army said in a released statement, the health condition of the wounded serviceman, identified as Vardan Vachagan Kirakosyan, born in 2000, is assessed serious but stable. "The serviceman was transferred to a military hospital and underwent successful operation," the Defense Army said, adding an investigation was launched to look into the circumstances of the incident.
