Armenian forces recaptured six positons, senior MP says
The Armenian military regained control over six positions captured by Azerbaijani troops in its latest aggression, a senior MP from the ruling Civil Contract party said on Friday.
Speaking at a briefing in the parliament, Andranik Kocharyan, who heads the Standing Committee on Defense and Security, underscored that Azerbaijan sought to secure positional improvement before the start of the delimitation and demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
“There are positions which have been recaptured by our troops. It’s about six positions. This figure is likely to change again,” the MP said, highlight the need for strict observance of the ceasefire agreed between Yerevan and Baku late on Wednesday.
