Armenian Foreign Ministry says no 'substantive' talks with UK over Rwanda deal
Armenia and the United Kingdom have had no “substantive” talks on a possible Rwanda deal, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Ani Badalyan claims.
Citing leaked documents, The Times reports that Britain has entered talks to replicate the Rwanda migrant deportation scheme with Armenia, Ivory Coast, Costa Rica and Botswana.
"Armenia and the UK have a broad agenda of political dialogue. At the same time, no substantive or technical negotiations have been held on the issue raised in the report," Badalyan told Panorama.am on Monday.
