Putin holds phone call with Aliyev

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday had a telephone conversation with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the Kremlin reported.

The leaders discussed bilateral and international matters, noting the constructive nature of Russia-Azerbaijan relations as well as the intensification of dialogue between the governments and relevant agencies of the two countries.

In addition, they reaffirmed their commitment to further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.

Putin held a phone call with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan earlier on Monday.
