President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent his condolences to the family of famous academician Paris Heruni on the occasion of his death, reported the press service of the President’s Administration. It is particularly mentioned in the message: “It was a deep sorrow to hear about the death of the academician. Paris Heruni was one of those telnets whose skills and work re-established the improved role of Armenian school of natural sciences. Due to his experience and research his investigations became sub-branches of new sciences.

The famous academician also had remarkable organizational skills. His mission was to find new developments of the sceince. Accept my condolences.”

Note that by the decree of the Prime Minister of Armenia a governmental committee is formed on the occasion of Paris Heruni's death. The committee will chair the Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan.

The committee informs that Heruni's funeral will take place in 19 Teryan street, apt. 13, at 18:00, on December 8. The final funerals will take place in the Academy of National Sciences at 12:00-14:00, on December 9.
