Iranian embassy in Armenia refrains as yet from any comment on Safarov’s extradition
On September 24, Panorama.am sent an inquiry to the Iranian embassy in Armenia about embassy’s position on Hungary’s extradition to Azerbaijan of Azeri axe-murderer Ramil Safarov and his pardon and release by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The embassy’s secretary promised to reply to our inquiry within three working days. However, when we inquired again on September 28, we were told to resend the letter. The secretary noted that they will notify us when they have a reply.
But today we received the same answer – “We will contact you when we have a reply.”
