Kocharyan: New government is more pragmatic than previous one
Armenia’s new government is more pragmatic than the previous one, and is closer to reality, with new Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan being the most harmonious figure for the current system, political engineer Karen Kocharyan told reporters in Yerevan.
When asked why the position of Sport Minister was again given to Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), the expert noted that it is part of a general package. We should remind you that Gabriel Ghazaryan has been appointed Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, replacing Yuri Vardanyan.
Kocharyan also said that Prosperous Armenia voted for Galust Sahakyan (representative of ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA)) in the election of parliament speaker, so he does not rule out that PAP will also support the program of the new government.
