Arthur Baghdasaryan does not rule out running for president
Orinats Yerkir Party leader Arthur Baghdasaryan has said he does not rule out running for presidency in 2018.
In his remarks at a news conference Wednesday, the politician noted that the party’s position is that the constitutional amendments are not the top problem in the country.
Arthur Baghdasaryan did not rule out holding of snap parliamentary elections since, according to him, the complicated situation in the National Assembly may create tensions in domestic political arena.
Regarding Orinats Yerkir Party’s rally to be held on July 18 at Liberty Square in Yerevan, Mr Baghdasaryan said that it will mainly focus on social issues, but political problems will also be discussed.
