In Azerbaijan hunt has begun for entrepreneur who provided humanitarian aid to Yezidis of Iraq
In Azerbaijani social networks a hunt for the head of Azersun Holding Abdolbari Gezal has begun. He is Kurdish by nationality and has provided humanitarian aid to the Yezidis of Iraq. He has been called an enemy, while his initiative was characterised as one directed against Azerbaijan, writes Azerbaijani news portal Azvizion.az.
In an interview with the portal Azerbaijani Member of Parliament Fazil Mustafa announced that this initiative can in the future encourage Azerbaijani entrepreneurs to start helping Syrian Armenians.
“Kurds live in Azerbaijan and they are our citizens. At the same time Kurds also live in Armenia and they represent the interests of our enemies. These Kurds have a negative attitude towards Muslim Kurds and they regard all the Turks as their enemies. If for the same reasons famous Azerbaijani entrepreneur starts helping the Armenians in Lebanon and Syria then how should our country react to this? Tomorrow this may become a reason for like-minded entrepreneurs to start helping Armenian refugees in Syria,” announced the MP.
