Defense Ministry spokesman: No urgent need for reserve to take part in frontline service
We know our enemy well: it constantly tries to escalate the situation on the important days, Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan told reporters on Friday.
“Therefore, the respective measures were taken and will continue to be taken in the armed forces to toughen the military vigil on the frontline,” the spokesman said.
As regards the war veterans’ proposal to go to the frontline, Hovhannisyan said that currently our armed forces fulfill their tasks and there is no urgent need for the reserve to take part in the frontline service.
